We do not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information unless you contact us directly via the feedback button. Information collected automatically includes:

• Streak data and reading history stored locally on your device
• Subscription status managed securely by RevenueCat
• Anonymous usage analytics to improve the app

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.

We use the information we collect to:

• Deliver daily topics and content
• Maintain your streak and reading progress
• Process your Explorer subscription through RevenueCat
• Improve content quality based on anonymous engagement data
• Respond to your feedback

Explorer subscriptions are processed by RevenueCat and Apple or Google. We do not store your payment information. Subscription management and cancellation is handled through your device's App Store settings.

Your streak, completed topics, and preferences are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you contact us directly. Topic content is generated by Anthropic's Claude AI and delivered from our secure servers. We do not associate content requests with individual users.

We use the following third party services:

• RevenueCat — subscription management
• Anthropic — AI content generation
• Supabase — content delivery
• Unsplash — photography
• Pollinations — AI image generation

Kurious is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Your continued use of Kurious after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
